The Annex is attached to the main property but completely private. The property is situated a stones throw away from the south west coast path overlooking the beautiful Bay of Wembury and the great Mewstone. The area nestles in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is ideal for access to the local beaches and the coast path. If you enjoy walking your dog it is ideal with a couple of really nice pubs close by. If you’re looking for a quiet coastal retreat then this is ideal. The Annex is self-contained with private access. There is a main living space with the kitchen / lounge area overlooks the main drive. There are two bedrooms and one wet room with all the facilities that you will need for a comfortable stay. There’s sky and Netflix on the tv. The Annex has its own access gate directly from the road where you will park your car. There is a small garden area with seating and a barbecue. We live in the main property but you will have as much privacy as you like. Our main living space does not overlook where you are going to be. You may see us driving in with the cars but that is about it. I love to welcome the guests and ensure that they have a good stay but I am very aware that people like to have their privacy while they’re on holiday. But if you ever need anything you are always welcome to knock on the door, give me a call or ping me an email. We want you to have a fantastic stay. If you enjoy the rugged coastline then this is the place for you. Access to the coast path and beaches in front of the property are by foot, but if you wanted to visit the larger beaches by car the nearest ones are approximately a mile or so away. There are several beaches along this stretch of coastline, where you can learn to surf, go for horse riding lessons and much more. The area is an area of outstanding natural beauty with easy access into Plymouth city centre. On the Barbican you may like to visit the historic Mayflower Steps where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail on their voyage to America and wander onto Plymouth Hoe where you will get a great view of Plymouth Sound. There you will find plenty of restaurants, and things to see and do. We can recommend lots of local attractions if this is what you like to do. If you like the moors then Dartmoor is a 30 minute drive away too. There is a local bus route but it is very infrequent so ideally you would need to have your own transport whilst staying here. Taxis are available if you choose to not bring a car The Annex at Wyndswaye Is situated approximately 6 miles from Plymouth city centre. There are many attractions around the area including surfing, walking, Pubs, lots of restaurants in Plymouth and local shops approximately 2 miles away.
