Self contained flat in detached cottage, Nancledra
This charming, detached Cottage, “Mill Leat” is nestled in a small village of Nancledra just a few miles from St Ives and Carbis Bay, Cornwall. The accommodation forms the ground floor of the cottage with own access. You are welcome to share my lovely sunny south facing garden. As well as having St Ives close by “Mill Leat” is a short drive away from many of Cornwall's beautiful coastal towns and sights, Including St Michael’s Mount, Lands’ End and many more. The Main door enters you into the kitchen where you can find the essentials you will need for your stay, with a 2-seater table for dining, 2 ring hob and a microwave oven, fridge and washing machine Through the kitchen, make yourself at home in the quaint living room where you can sit in front of the TV or read a book from the bookshelf and relax after visiting our local attractions. Then through into the hall where you will find a well-presented spacious double bedroom, with dressing table and wardrobe space for your things. Further down the hall you will find the bathroom with separate shower cubicle and a beautiful free standing rolltop bath. You are welcome to share my lovely sunny south facing garden. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. I respect the privacy of my guests however I am available if you have any questions. I live on the first floor. Ideally the Cottage Apartment is suitable for a couple although I do have a put me up bed for a child if required at an additional cost of £20 a night There is free Wifi Available. The Accommodation forms the ground floor of the Cottage so you will find everything on the one floor. However, unfortunately there is no disabled access to the flat as there are several steps and a steep slope to it. Nancledra is a small village mid way between St Ives and Penzance. Surrounded by fields and lots of country walks its 10 mins drive to St Ives with its beautiful beaches and famous galleries, and 10 mins the other direction to the historic town of Penzance and fishing port of Newlyn. There is a community run village shop open Fri, Sat and Sun selling some great homemade foods as well as bread and milk etc. it's a short drive to several supermarkets. The Engine Inn at Cripplesease is a 2 minute drive away There is a bus stop right outside the house for St Ives and Penzance, but busses only run in the daytime Nancledra and the local area are home to a plethora of things to see and do, from the stunning beaches and harbour towns, be sure to also venture a little further out of town to experience the famed Eden Project attraction and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. With so much to see and do, “Mill Leat” is the ultimate base for a memorable break.
