A working pottery studio/cabin built circa 1910, located on a private 20 acre lake in Tyler, Texas. All natural wood interior and wood burning stove. A large wrap around screen porch with dining area and foosball table. PLEASE NOTE: *Cabin is not insulated. Consider weather when booking! PET POLICY: *All pets must not be left unattended at The Pottery Cabin. They can be left in a crate or brought with guests but must not be left alone. Additional cleaning fees apply for more than one pet. You’re welcome to use the TV, and all video streaming services on the connected Apple TV. Feel to fish from the pier (fishing rods provided, but no boating is allowed), relax in the hammock or play foosball in the screened porch! You’re welcome to use the fishing pier but no boating is allowed. We will respect your privacy, but if you have any needs or questions, never hesitate to reach out! The pottery cabin is about 1 mile from Lake Palestine. Recommended restaurants are La Plazita (Mexican food, Tyler) Wade‘s place (fish and crawfish, Chandler), and pops chicken and burgers (Chandler). As you enter our private lake community, take the east entrance, then first right, and stay left, down the hill. The driveway is rough, but very passable. Park at the railroad ties near the blue cabin. Lockbox is on the left side of the main door. The front door does not close completely by itself. Be sure to turn the doorhandle, and press firmly to latch it. There is a fishing rod provided, inside the screened area. Feel free to use it! If you want live bait, I recommend purchasing earth worms or minnows from local bait shops in the Chandler area.
