Spacious & Unique Country House, West Sussex.

We are delighted to offer our luxurious and spacious home. A perfect getaway in the West Sussex countryside, a place of tranquility for a relaxing time away. This Georgian property which once formed part of a hotel has high-ceilings throughout. The house has some beautiful features for you to enjoy. With a heated pool and lake in the garden, there is something for everyone. You can enjoy long country walks from our doorstep or indeed a short walk to the local pub. The house can accommodate 10 guests, capacity for 12 on application. With a private lake and swimming pool, 2 dining areas (one formal and one informal), pool table, large entrance hall with cloakroom, snug - next to the kitchen so great for the kids to relax, fully equipped light and bright large kitchen with an Aga, a second kitchen/utility room. Upstairs you will find a truly luxurious and spacious master suite with ensuite bathroom (with shower and bath) and dressing room, 4 more luxury double bedrooms, one of which is en suite (all dressed with Egyptian cotton sheets). There is a further family bathroom with shower, and separate loo. You will be extremely comfortable in the beautiful living room, with open fire and space for 12 to relax. Free parking outside the house for up to 6 cars. You really do need a car to stay at our place, but there are plenty of local taxis available if needed. Both Guildford and Horsham are easily accessible from our home within 20 minutes or so. Cranleigh is only a short drive away and you will find most amenities you would need there. We are a family of 4 who have decided to Airbnb our house. On most occasions we will be staying locally, and will always be available if needed. Loxwood Hall is set in a peaceful residential location, in West Sussex. There is a wonderful local pub within a 3 minute walk - The Sir Roger Titchbourne where you can enjoy a fantastic menu, large garden with playhouse and a traditional pub atmosphere whilst enjoying local produce and a roaring fire. There are some beautiful walks can be taken from our doorstep, along the West Sussex Boarder Path and the Way & Arun Canal. Loxwood Village is a couple of minutes drive away where you will find a fabulous butchers, a post office and general store and a hairdressers. Alfold post office and general store is also a short drive away from the house. There is a petrol station with an M&S convenience shop a 6 minute drive away. The charming village of Cranleigh (the largest village in England) is just a 10 minute drive away, with some wonderful independent shops to mooch around and a fantastic butchers and fishmongers. There is also a Sainsbury's, M&S Foodhall and Co-op for your convenience. There is also a lovely pub and some wonderful cafes with indoor and outdoor seating. Cranleigh also has a sports centre, cricket ground and large playground. If you don't fancy cooking at the house there are a few restaurants who offer a take away service (including Indian, Turkish, Chinese and Thai). You will need a car whilst staying at Loxwood Hall West. We have plentiful parking here, both outside the house and by the garage adjacent to the house (for up to 6 cars). There are some beautiful cycle routes, including the Downs Link which is accessed in Cranleigh. There are bus routes into both Guildford and Horsham from the A281 (the main road leading to Loxwood). You can travel by car to Guildford or Horsham within 25 minutes.
