Hidden Gem, Perfect Private Bed/Bath in La Grange

Single family home located on a quiet street in safe and charming community. Private bedroom + bathroom located in the lower level provides a clean, restful stay. Natural daylight if you open the blinds, you'll sleep wonderfully in the new, luxurious queen bed! Happy to give you full privacy, or shared meals and conversations. We are down to earth and love being outdoors as much as possible. One queen bed in private bedroom (2 guests) 42" Smart TV Tea and Coffee provided with electric kettle Private bathroom, essentials provided (soap, shampoo, towel) Off-street parking (no overnight street parking is allowed) Minutes away from numerous attractions: Metra, Brookfield Zoo, Galloping Ghost, Salt Creek Bike Path, and a great variety of charming historic areas: Downtown La Grange, Oak Park, and Riverside, all full of cafes, shops, and amazing libraries, museums, and Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Private Room Specifications: - Luxurious queen mattress (iSerta Hybrid) - Closet and hangers - Wi-Fi Internet - Floor lamps and ceiling lights - Fan, Air filter, Space heater - Extra blankets and pillows - Central air and heat Bathroom: - Private bathroom, with toilet and shower (no tub) - Essentials provided: toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, towels, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, lotion, q-tips, cotton balls, makeup remover, first aid kit. Living Area: The living area is shared/semi-private, and contains a sectional sofa, a 42” Smart TV, board games and puzzles. I will pass through this area as needed to do laundry, access supplies and the treadmill. There is also a toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, Brita water filter, electric water kettle, and basic dishes/utensils available for guests. Laundry: I am happy to provide laundry service for $5 per load but ask that my guests do not touch the washer or dryer. Unfortunately I've had bad experiences in the past and this is a very strict rule. Parking: Parking off-street is available for no extra fee. Street parking is free/allowed during the day, but prohibited from 2am-6am. Only one car per booking please. Security Cameras: I have exterior cameras turned on at both doors, front and back. They are to be left alone, and never touched or tampered with. You will have access to the following areas: - Private bedroom + bathroom - Semi-private living room area - Shared fenced yard with hammock, glider, fire pit, grill, and garden. I work from home during the day, and keep a busy schedule in general with sports, and our love of nature, hiking, biking / exploring. I enjoy meeting new people, and have managed guest houses for 20+ years all over the US and the Caribbean. I am always a text, phone call, or AirBnb message away to ensure that all of my guests have an amazing, 5-Star experience! If you need suggestions on local hot spots, events, etc I am happy to help, or if you prefer to have seclusion and privacy, that will be respected. I ask that you and your guest(s) are courteous and respectful as this is my home that I have warmly opened up to share with others. La Grange Park/ La Grange is a family friendly, safe, neighborly area. There's a famous arcade within walking distance (Galloping Ghost), there's a lovely variety of cafes, shops, groceries, farmers markets, yoga studio, libraries, bike path, Brookfield Zoo, and so much more. There is a Metra stop less than 5 minutes away that goes into downtown Chicago, great bike/walking paths, and a bike shop that offers bike rentals. There is NO PARKING ror recreational vehicles such as boats, RV's, ATV's, Trailers, etc. I do have parking for ONE CAR only. If you have more than one car, I am unable to provide parking on or off street.
