Spacious Georgian apt, Bath a 20 min walk, parking
Large contained 2 bed Georgian garden flat with outdoor space, off street parking, 20 mins from centre of Bath, 1/2 mile to the canal, a mile to the countryside. Whole apt has been recently renovated - suitable for those wanting space but still near Bath, perfect for visiting Bath University friends & family or a girls weekend away! We are a family of 6 that live above in the house. The apt has kookiness and character of some imperfection but charm of being a period property! You will have your own space, own access with garden views. Off street parking for up to two cars. We live above the flat but the space is separated by a locked door, we are a family so may hear a little noise from us upstairs! The garden is shared with us as a family, but there are several different areas so not too busy! We are a social family and like interaction but respect guests space and privacy. Do come and say hello if you would like! The property is half a mile from the village of Larkhall - a beautiful village with independent shops including a farm shop, flower shop, grocers, deli, restaurant as well as a well stocked Co-op and a pub. St Saviour’s Church sits on the way from the Rectory to Larkhall and has beautiful grounds. A mile from the property you can find Alice Park, a large open green space with tennis courts, lots of room for dogs to run and things for kids - including a skate park, climbing frame and cafe with a large outdoor seating area. A mile in the other direction is Royal Victoria Park, with botanical gardens, mini golf, gardens and a very impressive playground area for children and a large skate park. The canal is 0.75 mile walk and this takes you all the way into town, or towards Bathampton. You can also access the city over the top through Camden Terrace where you can see beautiful views into the valley of Bath and across to Brown’s Folly on the hills. One mile from the property and you can be in the fields of Charlcombe and walk along the little brook or to the picturesque St Mary’s Church with an historic well. We are on a bus route and a 25 min walk to Bath Spa train and bus stations. Nespresso coffee pods provided (including decaf), tea and some milk will be in the fridge for you. Some cereals provided as per photos. We are a family of 6 and live above the flat - we try to keep noise to a minimum but we are on hand to help with anything. We welcome interaction but appreciate guests’ privacy too. If there are things you’d like to borrow or need, always ask. We will likely have it!
