Wellington retreat

After an extended break we are delighted to once again welcome guests to our charming cottage apartment, nestled within the one acre grounds of an imposing Edwardian house, built by Wellington College in 1901. A beautiful, well equipped, spacious living area sleeping 4 people. Full double bedroom and a double bed in the lounge, as well as two sofas. A modern kitchen, new bathroom, a lounge and dining area make up this tastefully renovated apartment. They include: - A selection of books - A selection of DVD's - Shower gel / shampoo - A selection of Teas, Coffees, Hot Chocolate We include a simple breakfast of Porridge, Muesli bars and tea/coffee, with fresh milk on arrival. Information booklets detailing of all local events and activities. We are always available should you need us, you only need ask. You will enjoy complete privacy, but we live close bye so are never far away if you need any help. We are located in a delightful village location within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, shops and nearby bus as well as convenient train links. There are lovely garden views, and we are currently designing a small courtyard garden for apartment guests. Please check how we are doing at time of booking as it will take a few weeks to complete. The bus passes the end of the road on the hour and trains run to Reading and London every half hour. If it is something more relaxing you are after, there are hundreds of acres of forests that surround the village with bikes available to hire locally. (3 miles - car 5 minutes) An idyllic location close to the market town of Wokingham. Not far from Ascot races, the river at Marlow, Henley on Thames and central London is less than an hour by train.
