Redwood Lodge: A hidden retreat

Unwind in your very own log cabin, Redwood Lodge which sits nestled in the shade of a giant redwood tree. The cabin sits in the grounds of our home, Redwood House and will be all yours for your entire stay. The cabin is well located for local attractions including wedding venue - Rivervale Barn (5 mins), Horseshoe Lake, Go-Ape Bracknell, Lapland UK and Legoland. We are also near the Royal Military Academy, Wellington College and close to Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Aldershot and Windsor. The entire cabin has been newly refurbished. It sleeps a max. of 4 peopl (Website hidden by Airbnb) (1 double bed and 1 sofa bed in the lounge). The main living area has a comfortable seating area with a 32 inch TV, kitchen and dining area. There is also a shoe rack and coat stand. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge and kettle as well as everything you need including, cafetière, tea pot as well as cutlery, dishes and cups, etc . During your stay we will supply you with a jug of milk for tea and coffee as well as instant coffee, tea bags and sugar. Off the main living area is a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and toilet. We supply hand-wash and body wash in case you forget your own, as well as bath and hand towels. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe. The cabin is situated within the grounds of our home, Redwood House. You will be able to park right outside the cabin. The entire cabin is level and has double doors at the entrance which makes it suitable for anyone with mobility issues (though note that internally we don't have adjustments, e.g. all doors are standard width and we don't have adjustments inside the bathroom). Although pets are not allowed, we welcome guide dogs. We are a 2 minute walk to Sandhurst station (connections to London via Reading, Workingham and Guildford) and we have ample on-premise parking. If you are a keen cyclist we have access to some great roads and off-road cycling. Redwood Lodge is situated in the grounds of Redwood House which is off Scotland Hill, a lovely quiet neighbourhood in Little Sandhurst, Berkshire. The location: We are just a 5 minute walk away from Sandhurst station with trains to Reading (20 minutes) or Guildford (25 minutes). London is also easily accessible via Reading and the journey takes approximately 1 hour to London Paddington. The M3 is close by and just 10 minutes drive away. We are conveniently situated for Heathrow - Terminal 5 - 26 minutes Terminal 2, 3 - 35 minutes. Once you're here if you'd rather take the bus, we are walking distance to a public bus stop which will take you to Bracknell, Camberley and Crowthorne. Royal Military Academy and schools: The Royal Military Academy is 7 minutes drive away. Wellington College and Eagle House Prep school are also just a few minutes away by car. Eating out: If you need to pop out for anything to eat, we have a number of great local restaurants and take aways within walking distance (Chinese, Indian, pizza and fish and chips) as well as a Tesco, Greggs bakery and CoOp (all just a 5 minute walk away). If you fancy hopping in the car, the Lexicon shopping centre (Bracknell) is a 15 minute drive away and has lots of shops, restaurants and a cinema. Camberley town centre is also just 10 minutes away. We use eco-friendly products whenever possible, as we are committed to living a sustainable lifestyle. We ask that no shoes are worn inside the cabin. No extra guests permitted. No parties allowed. No bicycles allowed inside the cabin. We have security cameras which means that your bicycle can be safely left outside.
