Beachfront 180' Views directly across the road with the most amazing sunsets imaginable out the front. Then for a complete change of scenery, out the back you have rolling meadows, cows, the cutest calves and the occasional chicken visitor. Jam Jerrup is one of the Bass Coast’s secret seaside gems. Dual level design, bungalow, 4 bedrooms with wardrobes, 2 kitchens, wood fire heating, air-conditioning, 3 bathrooms, ensuite with spa bath, outdoor entertaining/seating areas, rural and water views. The main house has kitchen, dining, lounge, 2 bedrooms, main bathroom and laundry downstairs. Going up the spiral staircase you will be embraced by the ambiences of natural light, space and a relaxing setting. There is a large deck facing the sea and master bedroom with ensuite and private patio. The front yard has a swing in the tree (recommended for small children only) and plenty of room for children to run around. The spacious private back yard has a pergola, rural views with farm animals and the Bungalow. The bungalow has a fully functioning kitchen equipped with all the basics, dining area, queen bed and an ensuite. **Beach Access: To find the track down to the beach, cross the road from the property and turn left. Head in the direction where there is a clearing for visitors parking and continue straight ahead towards the walking track. You will find an unlocked gate and through this gate, is access to the beach. Children enjoy exploring the walking track. I advise parental supervision at all times. **There is private parking on the property for up to 4 vehicles (5 small). Please don't park on the lawn. We provide a hard cover manual that has lots of suggestions for local entertainment. Although we won't be available in person, we are only a message away via the booking platform inbox. Jam Jerrup is a small and secluded coastal village nestled on the eastern shoreline of Western Port Bay, 3 kilometres off the Bass Highway which links Melbourne to Phillip Island. There are only 40 houses and no shops in Jam Jerrup, however food, fuel and other services are available nearby in Lang Lang (10 kilometres) and Grantville (13 kilometres). Grantville shopping centre is located both sides of the Bass Highway include: BP Service Station, Hot Chic Charcoal Chicken, Bottle-o, Op Shop, Ray's Pizza Pasta, Deli-on-Bass, Seaside Fish & Chips, Bakery, Grantville Pantry Licensed CAFE Restaurant, Grantville Medical Centre, Dorevitch Pathology, Mitre 10, Newsagency, numerous Real Estate Agents and the Grantville Pharmacy. Phillip Island and its many attractions are within easy reach - just 25 minutes drive to the island's bridge and 45 minutes to the Penguin Parade. Even closer to Jam Jerrup within 15 minutes drive is the Maru Koala & Animal park on the Bass Highway and Caldermeade Farm. Numerous local wineries in the region are well worth visiting including Ramsay's Vin Rose, Nyora Winery, Bass Valley Estate and The Gurdies Winery. All four of these Estates are less than 10 kms from the Bass Hwy. The Grantville Gurdies Nature Conservation Reserves and the Grantville 700 metre coastal walking track north from the pier along the shoreline are popular walks. You will find a clearing where visitors can park but continue walking towards the track ahead. You will come to an unlocked gate, pass through this gate and you will find access to the beach on your left. I hear that it is quiet a nice walking track with several secret accesses to the beach along the way. Children enjoy exploring this track but I would advise adult supervision at all times. *There is private parking on the property for up to 4 vehicles (5 small). Please don't park on the lawn. *We provide a hard cover manual that has lots of suggestions for local entertainment. *Front yard swing. Suitable for small toddlers only, under adult supervision. Use at own risk as branch strength can never be guaranteed. *This is the country life and we rely on rain water. Please conserve water. The main kitchen has a filter on the cold water tap for drinking. Use this tap for filling the kettle when making a cuppa. There is also a water filter jug in the main fridge. **NOTE: Don't use the toaster, jug or microwave at the same time, otherwise they will trip the power out. There is a re-set switch on a power board found behind the main kitchen microwave, if this happens. *In the Bungalow, fill the bungalow water filter jug with water from the main kitchen filtered tap.
