Chrisdee’s Suffolk Pods is a tranquil getaway in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. A family-owned business, this home-away-from-home provides the perfect break for families and friends. Surrounded by rolling fields, it is also just a short walk to a highly recommended pub, with many local attractions nearby. Guests can also benefit from a games room, compete with table tennis, while families with young children can enjoy the private playground just 20m from the pod, in a secure environment. Chrisdee’s family have been in Suffolk for generations. Together with husband Trev, their two children and dog Inca, they wanted to share their beautiful local area, building the pods this year. Set in idyllic countryside, the former farm was perfect to redevelop into a bespoke glamping ground. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of the county, and experienced in hospitality, Chrisdee and Trev will be on hand to make sure your Suffolk getaway is the perfect, relaxing break. The pods are pretty, well-equipped and very clean. It would suit groups of friends or families with young children, as it is safe and secure with lots to do. Our kids are a little old for the playground, but they would have loved it a few years ago. The games room is great, and gives you extra space – and there’s even a ping pong table.
