There's trains going directly to cardiff city centre if you wanted to go out for food, shopping or a picnic in roath park. Take the train to Cardiff Central if your wanting to go out for food and Cardiff Queen Street if you would like to go to St Davids. There's also taxi services all around Merthyr Tydfil. Lovely neighbourhood and friendly neighbours that would be more than welcome to help you around. There's private parking for 1 car on the premises, theres also plently of free street parking.
