Welcome to a wonderful family-friendly one bedroom apartment on a quiet street in Media, PA. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping and just a 10-minute drive from the quaint and lively Media downtown. Apartment has one bedroom, bath with tub and shower, full kitchen and large living room that includes full dining room area. (There is also a bar attached to the kitchen counter.) Two couches in the living room -- a pull-out couch and a futon couch -- add additional sleeping options for families. A deck off the front entrance is available for outside eating and relaxing, along with plenty of off street parking and a huge yard. Private entrance with coded entry, which is changed after every guest. There is one flight of stairs which is somewhat steep. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, dinnerware, cooking items, full stove and refrigerator, a crock pot, Keurig coffee maker and more. There is free WIFI, puzzles games, books, movies, a DVD player and smart TV, Game Cube and PlayStation, should you choose to spend a cozy evening in. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, in addition to the two sofa beds in the living room. The apartment has central air and a separate heating system you control with your own thermostat. Plenty of off street parking. Centrally located. Walking distance to shopping and dining, and a short drive to downtown Media. The local commuter train is 5-10 minutes away, and Philadelphia is a 25 minute ride with access to trains to NYC. The location is 25-30 minutes from the Philadelphia airport. You will have as much privacy as you like. We live downstairs and are available should you need anything. We live on a quiet residential street in Media. Easy and free parking on site and off street. Ubers available. Local trains run into Philadelphia with connections for New York City and other Eastern seaboard locations. Our apartment is close to Tyler Arboretum, Ridley Creek State Park, Swarthmore College, Penn State Brandywine and Linvilla Orchard. Downtown Media has casual to fancier restaurants along with live music and frequent festivals and family-friendly activities.
