We have everything you need to make this a home away from home whilst you explore our beautiful part of the country. The barn is in the grounds of our house but very private. The ground floor is an huge open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with a fully fitted modern kitchen (oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher). There's a dining table to seat up to 8 (at a push) and sofa space to relax in front of the 55" plasma TV and DVD player. We're fully equipped for families with a high chair and everything else you might need, including toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Upstairs there are two beautiful en suite bedrooms, both with railed Juliette balcomies overlooking the garden.. One has a king size bed and a single bed, the other two singles. There's also a travel cot if needed that can go in either room. Both bathrooms have showers, toilets and sinks. You have run of the garden with use of the tennis court, climbing frame and sunken trampoline. There's a private terrace in front of the barn with a gas BBQ for al fresco dining. Private parking on our drive for numerous cars. Uffington, recently featured in the Daily Telegraph as one of the 50 most desirable villages in the UK, is a beautiful village in the edge of Stamford. We have an excellent pub in the village which is 50 metres from our door. The Georgian town of Stamford is well deserving of its incredible reputation and has enough to occupy you for days on end whatever your passion. We have incredible walking both on our doorstep and further afield with highlights being Rutland Water, Tallington Lakes and Burghley House. We're perfectly positioned for Burghley Horse Trials and Rutland Birdfair. Free parking in our drive. Whilst there are occasional buses which pass between Stamford and Bourne, we'd recommend a car. We live in the main house and whilst we will respect your privacy, we're on hand for anything you need.
