Doos Hill Glamping

Doos Hill Glamping is situated in a secluded location just off the main carriageway with stunning views across the marshes. The beautiful sunset can be seen by taking a short wander into the next field where the sheep may be grazing. If you want to unwind, relax and sleep in comfort then this will be your perfect getaway. Our bell tent is suitable for couples, friends or small families. Our 6 metre bell tent is very roomy, making it comfortable for the warmer evenings but also very cosy for the cooler nights. It's beautiful boho/vintage decor vibe is very welcoming. The tent has 3 handmade wooden beds, 1 double and 2 singles, all made up with memory foam mattresses, pillows, cushions and crisp white linen. This will sleep 4 people. We can supply a single air bed to sleep 1 extra guest however you will need to bring your own linen/sleeping bag etc for this. Blankets and cushions are provided however it may be wise to bring extra for when the weather turns - please don’t use the inside blankets for outdoors. Also in the bell tent is a wood burning stove which can be used for heating or to cook food on. It has a small water tank attached to the side - perfect for tea on tap! (Don’t forget to bring fresh water to fill the tank). Outside the tent is a picnic bench, a fire pit and seating area to enjoy. There is also a single toilet and basin (no shower currently) with a solar powered light. The water is not suitable for drinking so please bring your own fresh water for this. We ask that NO shoes are worn inside the tent please. You’re more than welcome to bring a pair of slippers. Well behaved dogs allowed ONLY, due to livestock in nearby field. To be kept on leads at all times. They must be house trained (Please bring beds, crates, bowls etc - any bowls to be used outside of the tent). Dogs must also be kept off of beds or furniture and paws wiped before coming in if the weather is bad. Please let us know if you are bringing dogs when you make your booking. We are embracing having NO electricity by using solar lighting throughout. (Don't forget to bring a power bank to charge your phone). Plates, glasses, cutlery, saucepans, utensils, tea, coffee and sugar will be provided. A basket of logs will be provided for the stove, and an additional bag for the fire pit. Extra logs can be requested (Additional cost). We also have a BBQ that can be provided (Additional cost) which will include charcoal and utensils. We look forward to welcoming you! During the dry summer months there will be parking available next to the tent. When the weather turns and ground becomes wet the parking will be a short walk from the tent, however it is still very secure and away from the road. A wheelbarrow will be available to use when parking near the tent isn't accessible. There are lovely places to go for a walk, including the beach which is only a 10 minute or so drive. There are supermarkets, takeaways, restaurants, petrol stations etc all nearby. NO smoking allowed inside the bell tent. Please use the ashtrays provided outside. We would also like to add that this glamping site is situated next to our farm field so there may be the odd tractor or machinery working from time to time. There may also be sheep grazing in the nearby field so any dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times although you are more than welcome to take a stroll through there.
