The area also serves up plenty...dine & shop in the adorable towns of Saugerties, Woodstock, Hudson, Hunter or Catskill, all just a short drive. Or just relax in the hot sauna or steam shower. Honestly, you'll not want to leave. What makes our home so unique it's a one of a kind property located directly on the majestic Hudson at a spot on the Hudson that provides massive panoramic views. You'll be able to watch both the sunrise and sunset from the property. Truly a very special place on this earth and extraordinary for the Hudson Valley. You'll have exclusive access to the Carriage House. You'll also have access to all exterior grounds & gazebo. Owners occupy the main house. Seasonally, we have a dock and you will also have access to that to fish off of or just hang your feet in the water. Only space we ask you not to use is our main house & garage. We provide you as much space and privacy as you like. On the other hand if you want to engage in conversation, have questions, want to learn about the area, etc...we are always happy to engage! Smith's Point is located on a dead end street so traffic is minimal and the neighborhood is super safe. From NYC - Amtrak provides train service to Hudson and buses also go to Kingston. From there it's a short 20 minutes cab ride. We do have two dogs - Teddy & Tucker. They lives indoors with us in the main house, but whenever out we are always around and they are also very friendly and love people.
