This house is two blocks away from the Boulevard where you could explore the diverse cuisines and shops. This neighborhood is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of NYC and is safe to walk around at night because it is patrolled by the local police. The people are friendly and it is quite relaxing to walk around the neighborhood. Supermarket, wine store, Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robbins is located 5 minutes walking distance away at Wesmont Avalon Community. Across from the location mentioned is a strip mall with a Laundromat, Chinese food take out, and a deli/liquor store. Closest shopping mall with restaurants and shops are in Teterboro Landing, which is 6 minutes away (2.6 miles/4.2 km). Other malls in Bergen County are Garden State Plaza Mall, Riverside Square Mall, Bergen Mall, and Paramus Park Mall. Did you know that shopping in New Jersey is tax free for clothes and shoes? Please note that Bergen County follows the blue law where non-food items are closed on Sundays. Free parking is available on the premises. However, there is only one driveway. Please be prepared to move your car if you choose to park in the driveway if another vehicle is parked near the garage. Free street parking is a block away. Overnight street parking requires police approval because street parking in the neighborhood is not allowed from 0100 to 0600 (1 am to 6 am). To do so, please visit the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department website to request street parking overnight by simply entering your vehicle license plate, make and model. Transportation options to NYC: Take 163 bus by the Boulevard circle walking two blocks away from this lodging. You may choose either Teterboro or Wesmont train stations to travel to NYC or to other locations. There are buses available in the neighborhood to travel to other locations, including shopping malls. Please take note of the transportation schedule during the holidays. Nearest Commercial Airport: Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 20 minutes (16.2 miles/26 km) away.
