We are a large Freehouse traditional Inn set in the conservation area of Mary Tavy within Dartmoor National Park.We have 4 Double/Twin En Suite Rooms. Stunning views over Dartmoor. THE OLD SMITHY The Old Smithy with it’s vaulted ceiling is a detached unit with a super king sized bed. This room can be used as a Double or Twin. There is plenty of room for a cot. In the En Suite Bathroom is a large walk in shower with glass door. There is also a shaver socket. The bedroom it is equipped with Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate making facilities, along with biscuits to nibble on. There is a flat screen wall mounted TV with multi channels, Radio Alarm Clock and Hair Dryer. One of the windows gives you views of the court yard and the other one gives you fantastic views across the valley towards Wheals Betsy, Horndon and Brentor. The Mary Tavy Inn in located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park approx 4 miles from Tavistock. Ideally situated for Walking, Riding , Cycling, Fishing and Sight seeing with many National Trust Properties close by.
