Take a walk in the beautiful Garry Oak park just outside our gates or take a few minute drive to downtown Duncan to see the Totems, Ride on the old steam engine at the Duncan Forest museum or check out Whippletree Junction for a unique antique or handmade crafts. Your less than 15 minutes to see the Murals in the "Little Town that Did"- Chemainus, BC. Great wineries and restaurants in the area. Self contained Country cabin for 2 with your own separate shower house/bathroom facility beside cabin to give you a taste of the old west. Secluded property with remote gates for privacy. Main cabin has: * Reclining leather love seat * Western table with bar stools * Bar sink with hot and cold water * TV and DVD with a selection of DVD's as there is no cable in the cabin * Mini fridge, microwave and counter-top portable cook top with oven if you wish to cook * Lots of unique antiques to check out * Cowhide rug * King size bed in loft for your sleeping comfort * BBQ also available * Little country porch Wash-house contains: * Large shower * Flush toilet * Sink situated on antique vanity Private parking area Close to horse facility Access to Somenos lake on adjacent road for Kayaking * Any help you need or questions you may have can be answered as we are available on the property We are right beside one of the nicest Garry Oak parks on the Island as well as a bird sanctuary. Deer, Rabbits and Owls are a regular site. You are within walking distance from town. * We are in the processes of hooking up wifi in the cabin. A signal is available but not guaranteed at all times unless you move closer to the main house so internet is intermittent at the moment.
