We are offering our refinished barn for guests to enjoy our waterfront location. The barn has a single bedroom in a loft above the lofty space. It features a grand stone fireplace and has 3 sets of French doors that open onto a landscaped patio and garden which overlooks Conary Cove and Blue Hill Bay. We have a dock on Conary Cove and the house backs to the Salt Pond, so we are literally surrounded by water. We can offer to take our guests on a sail on one of our boats. Guests are also welcome to use our playaks and canoe. Dock including canoe and kayaks, garden, patio off the barn with landscaped pond and a greenhouse attached to the barn with the opportunity to enjoy herbs and vegetables fresh from the garden. The barn is attached to our primary residence, so we are available to assist guests with their needs while being happy to leave them in solitude if they wish. Blue Hill is a unique coastal village that maintains an authentic taste of Maine without being overrun by visitors during the summer months. Great access to Acadia National Park and Stonington on Deer Isle, it is the ideal experience of Downeast Maine. We are 3 miles south of Blue Hill town, so a car is essential unless you plan on arriving by boat.
