Open plan living space with comfy seating and woodburner. Dining area for a romantic candle lit supper or leisurely breakfast. Well-appointed fitted kitchen area. Bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Patio doors lead out to a decked area with wonderful hot tub and garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. Tynewydd is ideally placed to explore the mid Wales area. You can easily reach the Radnor Hills, stunning Cambrian Mountains and the Elan Valley with its Victorian dams and wildlife rich countryside. Walking, cycling, horse riding, birdwatching and fishing can all be enjoyed in the area. Penybont village has a popular 18th century coaching inn, The Severn Arms, about 10 minutes walk from the lodge. Llandrindod Wells is our nearest large town roughly 10 minutes drive south of Penybont. There are a range of independent shops along with two supermarkets: Tesco and Aldi. The town attractions include a leisure centre, tennis club and golf course. Car recommended.
