Quiet, secluded fruit farm near Elon

Our home is a 20 acre fully functioning fruit farm that was built in 1906. The farm is just 15 minutes away from Greensboro and 6 minutes from Elon. There is a lot of space, and is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Feel free to feed the chickens! The pool and hot tub will be open June 1 - September 14. They will both remain closed the rest of the year. Guests have access to everything. During the winter months the pool and hot tub are covered, but when it is uncovered feel free to swim all you want. Please do not attempt to uncover the pool yourself and swim in it during winter. Out near the barn I have a power rack, several free weights, and heavy bag as well if you want to work out at all. It is outside, and not a typical gym environment. But there are several gyms within a 5 mile radius if you want more of a typical gym. I like to meet the guests when they arrive and just say hi briefly. If I am in class or at work when you arrive, feel free to make yourself at home. My school is 10 minutes away so I am very close if needed. We live across the street from a fire station. So, every once in a while the fire trucks will go by and the sirens are very loud. It only lasts a minute at most but I feel guests should be aware of that. Next to the fire station is a baseball field and during the summer there are people playing games in the field, so occasionally you may hear some cheering. But it is nice to sit on the porch and watch the games, so I think it's actually a good thing. Also, the house runs off well water which isn't bad for you at all, but it has has a little more iron in it, which you can taste. So if you want some water, just get it from the fridge, because then it will be filtered and taste delicious. We have a basketball goal that almost everybody uses to park in, as well as a garage and a long drive way. Parking in the grass near the basketball goal is fine, but please park there only if the pavement is all filled up. No smoking inside the house, and no drugs of any kind are allowed on the property. Our property is truly beautiful, but that takes quite a bit of work. We have had a landscaper for the last 14 years that comes to the house for about 5-7 hours most weekdays. When the house is occupied he stays outside. The farm is lovely and he allows it to stay that way. Our home has 1 security camera which watches the main hallway, and 4 motion sensors, which are all part of a great security system we have for safety. All of this was provided by CPI security and we definitely recommend their service. However, none of these things are active when the guests are staying. We only use it when the house is empty in case of break-ins. We have never had a break-in for the 18 years we have lived at the house but still, better safe than sorry!
