Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping (Glamping) experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Enjoy the surrounding landscape or check out local shops and restaurants on Port Perry’s main street. Reconnect with the surrounding forest through floor to ceiling windows and view the starts from the moonroof above your bed. Our 24 foot dome has heating and cooling and many unique features for you to enjoy a luxurious stay. Our living area is decorated and inspired by the great outdoors to create a calm, relaxing experience for guests. It is equipped with a queen bed, kitchenette, dining and living area. Free wifi is also provided. The bathroom and shower are one with nature. They sit in the woods detached from the Geodesic dome. (Please note the shower is open seasonally and closes when temptures dip below freezing) The dome is just a short drive from the Great Blue Heron Casino or Port Perry main St. Property comes with free parking. Enter through the South wood chip driveway when you see the Birchwood sign. If you enter through the paved driveway you have gone too far.
