Cosy Catskills Cottage: The Perfect Mini-Escape

Enjoy everything the Catskills has to offer in this cosy cottage which has just been remodeled for modern vibes with touches of cabin comforts to create the perfect upstate getaway. Situated on 3 acres of woodlands and right on the beautiful Ashokan Reservoir, this escape is secluded and private, but perfectly situated 10 minutes from Woodstock and Phoenicia and all the area has to offer. - UPDATE work-from-home amenities can be set up if required. The host will arrange for a desk, monitor, ergonomic chair, mouse and keyboard to be set up in the bedroom if you require an escape whist working remotely during these times. Note - the property has cell service and great high-speed, zoom compatible WiFi. - The one bedroom cottage has a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the appliances you need. - Natural slate floor with underfloor radiant heat means it's toasty warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. - Living room features dining space for 4 and lounging space for up to four people. TV is kitted out with Netflix, Hulu and HBO Max. - The main bedroom has a queen bed with a top of the line Casper mattress. - The second queen bed is in the loft which is accessible by ladder. This loft space is not suitable for children, heavy adults or those unstable on their feet. Please reach out to the host if you wish to have additional guests not in the loft and we can arrange for an air mattress. - Bathroom shower with great water pressure. The cabin is located on Sophie’s Estate, 3 acres of Woodland Property featuring a 3 bedroom house and the 1 bedroom cottage. The cabin is set up completely separate from the main house. It is a fair distance away from the main house and has its own private outdoor area and parking. When both in the cabin and in the cabin’s private outdoor area you cannot see or hear the main house. Currently the main house is not listed for rent. There is a security camera present overlooking the driveway of the home, which is there to monitor deliveries and weather (to determine if snow plowing is needed).
