Comfortable cosy room that can be rented as a single or twin, has tv/wifi, on road parking is available, the main bus route is a 5 minute walk and the city and quayside are within walking distance taking approximately 30 minutes to the city centre. We would like to emphasise that our home is at the top of the hill hence the superb city views. The room has twin beds so you can add an extra guest for an additional £12 per night after the first guest if required. There is a separate shower room/toilet along with the main bathroom which guests are more than welcome to use, towels are provided in your room, we can also provide a hair dryer and iron if required. Breakfast time is to relax and help yourself! We provide a range of tea, coffee, toast and cereal, the dining table will be laid up for you, as we are usually gone early in the mornings. There are also tea/coffee and herbal varieties provided in your room and fresh milk is always available, please let me know if you require oat or dairy free milk in advance. We are easy going hosts who enjoy meeting people, we have 3 elderly cats who are very friendly and love attention, we sometimes have our Granddog Olive stay over and she loves to meet new friends too. Whilst we are happy to have a chat over a cuppa when you arrive we trust that you will respect our private space during the evenings. We are more than happy to offer any tips or information you require about places to visit such as restaurants, pubs etc.. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Parking is available on the road outside although it can sometimes get a little crowded, if that is the case when you arrive then please let us know and we will happily move one of our vehicles to accommodate. The A bus route to the city is a 5 minute walk from the house and takes approximately 27 - 30 minutes, the buses run frequently. We can also recommend taxi services if required. We are situated just off the M5. The university of Exeter is approximately 2.8 miles from our house, if driving it will take around 10-13 minutes depending on traffic. We please request that you keep the lounge door closed due to the cats attempting to come upstairs and seek refuge on your bed! Also when you are having breakfast you are more than welcome to let the cats in if you so wish but please leave the door open as they aren't used to being enclosed.
