Pleasant atmosphere at the home of two artists. A simply furnished room and lots of art to see. Your own patio to chill on in the summer months, a communal bathroom, you may use the kitchen on agreement. Terrific, German-style breakfast. We and our cats, Jimmy & Mira live here and look forward to welcoming you! Only for people who are vaccinated against CoViD or who have recovered from it. Proof is required in both cases. Hiking, painting, a boat tour on the Stör or the Elbe or just relaxing on the terrace or in the garden ........ There is a bus stop not far from the house for the bus to Itzehoe. Itzehoe is on the Hamburg - Westerland (Sylt) railway line. Almost in the middle of Germany´s most Northern State. Hamburg, Denmark, the North Sea and the Baltic are all reachable by car for a day out. The Elbe with the ferry to Wischhafen is very close and makes Lower Saxony accessible too. Visit the Kehdinger Moor, Worpswede, Stade or Cuxhaven. Itzehoe is where you can shop and has a theater, cinema and an art museum with North German Art. The weekly market is on Thursdays. Oelixdorf itself has a pub with food which is only a couple of minutes away by foot, Itzehoe has plenty of restaurants.
