Enjoy a cup of coffee around a campfire fire wood can be ( purchased at weis market, 24 hours) with stories and laughs and enjoy your time with your loved ones. Enjoy cocktails and snacks in the rustic home just sitting around. Or wake up and get right out there on the very close golf course. Lots of things to do! This vacation community has indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field, ski lift with lift services, mini-golf, a 9 hole golf course, swimming pools (2 heated pools outdoors) seasonal) Beach, 6 Lakes, kayaks, tubing run, fitness center, recreation room, playground, (tiki bar seasonal) restaurant and pub and outdoor dining. The Delaware river is a short drive away with raft, kayak, tubing and canoe trips (rentals available), the Roebling Bridge, the Zane Grey Museum and much more. Watch the eagles soar over the river if nothing else. Also close by is Pennsylvania's Lake Wallenpaupack with many recreational opportunities from boat and jet ski rentals to sightseeing tours with restaurants and pubs all along the way. Snow skiers, there is a small ski and tubing slope in the Hideout community that is great for kids and beginners. (Call for hours) It is a short drive to Elk Mountain 55 mins. Montage Mountain 35 mins Jack Frost Big Boulder, Shawnee Mountain and Camelback. Many of these resorts also have water attractions. Car, bicycle or walk 2 hours from NYC, 30 miles to Montage mountain ski resort 35 minutes, Elk mountain 55 minutes, and Big Bear resort. There is Camelback Mountain waterpark and Kalahari waterpark 50 minutes, Also 30 minutes to Avoca airport.
