The room is bright and friendly furnished and has a 90 or 140 cm wide comfortable bed. You have your own shower room. On the floor there is a new, modern, well-equipped guest kitchen that can be rented for CHF 5/ day for self-sufficiency. (From May 2022) you can use the beautiful sun terrace next to the natural swimming pond with a wonderful view of the vastness of the Jura mountain range. Gilgenberg Castle is located in the south, vis à vis, below the Portiflue rock, embedded in green valleys. In summer, enjoy naturally clarified alkaline water in our natural swimming pond. The guest apartment has a coffee machine and a wide range of teas, so that you can always provide yourself with hot drinks. The guest terrace, lawn and natural swimming pond will be available from May 22nd. You can do your laundry in the guest laundry room. You can park directly in front of the house. You walk 5 minutes to the 111 bus, it goes to Laufen and Liestal every 30 minutes. Beautiful hiking routes in the nearby Jura forests, Excursions to Liestal & Laufen with the 111 bus, every 30 minutes to the S3 Basel - Delemont train station. By arrangement we offer breakfast for CHF 9 & half-board for CHF 38, vegan organic cuisine, if required also gluten-fructose- and lactose-free diets. For guests who need support, Svanette offers meals & companionship with possible support in coping with everyday life, by the hour, tariffs by arrangement, on request.
