Heronwood lodge offers the peace and tranquility of the countryside whilst being close to all amenities and routes to the airport and motorways. We have recently been awarded a certificate of excellence for our service and accommodation. We have two rooms available but please note one room is up a flight of stairs, whilst the other is on the ground floor. Heronwood lodge is on the ground floor and main house is on the ground floor. Both come with self-service complimentary breakfast heronwood lodge is self contained with its own private wet room , under floor heating, fully equipped kitchen, everything you will need to make your own hearty breakfast, the double bedroom has a memory foam mattress and pillows , internet ,flat screen tv , ipod docking station and private parking. we are situated 5 minutes drive from Bristol airport, ten mniutes from Backwell train station and set back off the main A370, the house is nestled in a beautifull woodland area with plenty of walks or sight seeing to be had. This is truly an amazing location With beautiful surroundings and a lovely traditional farm shop just moments away offering everything fresh, it is ideal for those weekend getaways. Perfect for guests who also want to visit the city of Bristol without having to find an expensive busy accommodation in the centre of town. With a regular bus and train service within miles you have access to all the surrounding attractions and amenities There is a farm shop that produces home cooked foods, a deli counter and fresh fruit and vegetables at the top of the drive. The area is quiet even with the shop on site. There is a bus stop directly acrooss the road from the shop which takes you either to weston or Bristol. As well as the bus stops we are five minutes from the train station by car and ten minutes from Bristol Airport.
