Rural detached 1 bed cottage close to lakes

Very close to the leisure lakes where swimming, fishing and boat hire is available. 10 minute drive to Rochechouart Chateau. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. We are a 40 minute drive from Limoges Airport and City Centre. You’ll love the cottage because of the outdoor space & rural location, comfy King size bed, the shower / bathroom & well equipped kitchen. A great base to explore this beautiful area in France. The cottage is ideal for couples & solo adventurers. Great area for cyclists! The cottage is a renovated building which still holds a working bread oven. The bedroom and bathroom are on a mezzanine and the staircase is quite steep and not ideal for small children. A couple with baby have already stayed comfortably and we can provide cot and cot bedding if required. You will have sole access to the cottage and garden. Well established cottage garden with plenty of shade and sun spots. Perfect for rest and relaxation. There is an open section of the barn which is covered which can be used if you require outside covered space. Barbecue provided and bicycles can be borrowed free of charge. We will endeavour to welcome you at check-in and offer our assistance throughout your stay. If we are unable to greet you, we will notify you in advance of your visit and inform you where the key can be collected. Le Mas is very quiet and is ideal for hikers and cyclists. We are surrounded by fields and there is a working farm so there will be some tractors but very few cars going past the cottage. Ideally you will need a car to get about. Although the Leisure lakes are within cycling distance. There are a number of supermarkets in Rochechouart and Saint Junien. There is a local boulangerie in Massignac. We will do our very best to make you welcome and pass on our favourite places to go, eat and relax.
