Do summer right with a barbecue, views & friends! Diving, fishing and swimming can be enjoyed nearby at the beach. The beautifully pristine & quiet holiday home is perfect for a weekend retreat! Very friendly neighbours who all are willing to help if you need any! They are predominately older couples who have retired on the beautiful island! To access the property, guests will need to get to Sandspit wharf where there is cheap parking (about $7 a day) and catch a ferry ($58 return for adults, $34 for children or $155 for a private water taxi for a maximum of 5 people). The ferry will drop you at the property directly. Ferry prices vary, please contact Kawau cruises for more information about the day you wish to travel. The island doesn’t have any shops, I would suggest bringing all your groceries with you and if you run out you are able to order from countdown Warkworth to get it delivered at Sandspit wharf and the ferry will drop it to the property for 10 dollars a box. Guests will need to take rubbish with them off the Island but can leave the bags on Sandspit wharf - where there are large bins. For stays 7 days or more, you will need to bring your own consumables such as dish washing liquid, laundry powder etc.
