Simple Cyclists Summerhouse
This is a lovely quirky, cosy space to spend a night if you are cycling the Hadriens Cycle way route 72 as we are right next to the route in the centre of the village. We have secure storage facilities for bikes and simple bike repair facilities The Royal Oak is around the corner and serves great meals and has a small village shop too Beckermet is a quiet and peaceful, pretty village and perfect for a stopover We have an outside loo and small wash basin, all very basic but better than camping ! This is a basic overnight stay with basic facilities The summerhouse is suitable for single people only and ideal for cyclists overnight stop on the c2c 72 route. We are 10 mins from Braystones railway station for those starting the C2C from Whitehaven There is no shower, just an outside loo with wash basin Bike can be stored in the secure bike shed The summerhouse has electricity, a radio, kettle , mug and coffee tea sachets, lights and Wi fi . A chair and small table. It is comfortable and basic. You will fall asleep to the sound of the stream running alongside the garden The summerhouse is secluded and private and at the end of a lovely garden surrounded by mature trees We have a lively border collie who will be around the garden and yard You would be able to hang wet cycling gear up to dry in the shed if needed Meals can be purchased in the Royal Oak which also has a small shop selling basics Beckermet village is quiet and peaceful Bike storage is in our bike shed ( with charging for E bike if required too ) You will have independent access to the summerhouse and won't be disturbed. Duvet, pillows and blankets are provided You will need your own sleeping bag. There is parking for a vehicle if needed We live on the premises and will be around if needed We are experienced cyclsits and walkers and can offer help and support if required Beckermet is a quiet, pretty village on the Hadriens cycle route C72 . We are located between Seascale and about 7 miles from St Bees. Rural area. Bike is ideal Car for touring lakes and fell walking Nearest train station at Braystones and Sellafield Please note we have a lively young border collie who will want to be your best friend and will be in the garden playing on the grass
