In the summer months (May-September) there is access to a heated swimming pool (solely for quests). We provide a BBQ and a pizza oven for fun evenings by the pool. Apple Tree Cottage has been awarded the Bromley Environmental Award for building design conservation. The cottage itself is over 400 years old (among the oldest in the entire borough) and was restored using original materials. Sophie is always available to help at any time There is a quaint local pub (The Blacksmith's Arms) a short 2 minute walk away and renowned historical sites such as Down House and Chartwell within easy driving distance. There are also a multitude of scenic hiking routes. 30 minutes by car from Gatwick, 9 minutes from Biggin Hill Airport. London is 16 minutes by train. Great place for bike rides and country walks.
