Come relax and still be near all the action! Enjoy a private, quiet home 2800 sqft home, on a 1+ acre. My house is located off River Road in the West End of Richmond, near the Univ. of Richmond. For rentals longer than a month, please contact me first before submitting a reservation request. Thank you! My hone has 3x bedrooms: #1 with 1x King bed, #2 with 1x Queen bed, #3 with 1x Queen and 1x Double bed. Also a note for your planning, the sofa is not to be used as a bed, this is for the benefit and comfort for all guests. Additional cleaning fee will be charged, if sofa is used as a bed. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood, at the end of a cul de sac. The Kanawaha canal and a small creek border the 2x sides of the house. There is an active railway on the opposite side of the canal, that is only used by private, industrial (coal/shipping container) trains, no Amtrak or passenger trains. There is no regular train schedule and I find there is little, if any train activity at night. For guests traveling for events around Richmond my house is: 3 mins from the Univ. of Richmond, 10-12 mins from Regency Mall, 15-20 mins from Tuckahoe Plantation, 20-25 mins from Short Pump Town Center, 15 mins from Carytown/The Fan, 20-25 mins from VCU/Brown's Island/Downtown, 25-35 mins from Richmond International Airport Guests will have full access to entire home level, patio, and yard. The basement area is kept locked. A code will be provided to you for checking in. We give our guests complete privacy. I will be available 24-7 via phone or email and a house manager is close by and available in a minutes notice. For longer stays, might see the yard maintenance service who stop by weekly. Also for longer stay, I can recommend a local housekeeper to you for weekly or bi-monthly cleanings. An home manual, with house rules, recommended local activities, and restaurants is left on the kitchen counter for you. Home is located in an established West End neighborhood off of River Road, streets are tree lined and full of beautiful landscapes. Several homes were part of the 2016 Virginia Garden Tour. The speed limit is 25 MPH, please drive carefully while in the neighborhood, as there are several curves, and it gets very dark at night. While the home is set back off the main roads, you are actually located quite close to everything. Ubers are easy to get, and are approximately $12 to the Fan District. Cyclists can enjoy riding across Huguenot Bridge to Pony Pasture. University of Richmond is less then 1 mile away, VCU is 6 miles away, with MCV and Chippenham Hospitals each 8 miles away. Short Pump is 9 miles away. Breaking of any house rules, such as having ANY additional guests on the property not on the reservation, will result in fees ($50/per person) and/or loss of deposit. Please be aware of this before booking my home. Stairs: There are 2x sets of 4-5 stairs to enter the home. The first set lead up to the front patio, and the second set up to the front door. .
