A large 5 bedroom detached house with 2.5 bathrooms set in a blissful country setting, backing on to farmers fields. Large driveway can accommodate up to 4 cars. Private and peaceful garden with seating and gas BBQ, backs on to farmers fields with sheep. Downstairs features playroom, large dining room, home office, kitchen and living room featuring double bi-fold doors to a huge patio area. Upstairs features 4 bedrooms with two full bathrooms, all well finished and furnished. Welcome to use full kitchenware, washing machine/tumble dryer, bbq. Bedsheets/towels will be provided. Guests will be sent code for the key box shortly before their stay which will allow them access to the property. Guests can access all areas except for garage. Local Places of Interest To Visit - Groombridge Place. Groombridge Place is a moated manor house in the village of Groombridge near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. It has become a tourist attraction, noted for its formal gardens and vineyards - Penshurst Place. Fortified manor house with incredible gardens, adventure playground, summer maze, cafe and events including farmers' markets. - Pooh Sticks Bridge/Hundred Acre Wood. Famous from the Winnie the Pooh stories, this is a big tourist highlight - Tunbridge Wells - The Pantiles. This is a beautiful historical market area with lots of restaurants and farmers markets on the weekends. - High Rocks. High Rocks is a 7.9-acre geological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Tunbridge Wells - The Spa Valley Railway. This is a traditional steam train service which runs from Groombridge into Tunbridge Wells, a real step back in time! - Dunorlan Park. Go for a stroll around the elegant, 78-acre Dunorlan Park, landscaped in the 1860s by Robert Marnock, a prominent Victorian gardener. If the sun is shining, row or pedalo around the boating lake, before taking in the countryside vistas from its grassy slopes with a picnic. - Scotney Castle. The estate at Scotney Castle offers an array of parkland and woodland with perfect picnic spots, hop gardens and a herd of Sussex cattle. The castle is from the 1800’s. - Spa Hotel. A beautiful hotel and spa near Tunbridge Wells - Eridge Rocks Nature Reserve. Picturesque walks. Great Local Pubs The area has some incredible country pubs with excellent food and a variety of drinks, here are some of our favourites. Booking well in advance is definitely required for a Sunday roast, as it’s very popular/delicious! - The Hare (Langton Green) - The Neville Crest and Gun (Eridge) - The Crown Inn (Groombridge) - The Beacon (Langton Green, restaurant) - The Dorset Arms (Withyham) Shops There are supermarkets in Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough, we would recommend Crowborough as it’s a simpler drive. Morrisons, Waitrose, Lidl and Sainsburies are all within a 10-15 minute drive. Trains The best way to get to London or other areas by train is to drive to the Tunbridge Wells Station. It can be tricky to get parking unless you pay, but you can also drive to the next station called High Brooms and there is usually free parking on the roads around the station. Car required. Upto 4 cars can park in the driveway. We have two desks which are well suited to home working.
