Cosy flat in quiet neighbourhood close to Aarhus

Welcome to our 55 sqm flat in Mallinghus (The Malling House) built in 1877 - one of the older buildings in the town Malling in Aarhus municipality, close to Vilhelmsborg, Det Nationale Hestesportcenter. The flat has some original characteristics - such as few square angles and steep stairs up to the first floor. New windows and a good heating system brings the flat up to modern comfort standards. The eclectic decoration of the flat reflects the owners' years (travelling and) living abroad. The flat consists of one bright, south facing living room with a dining area and a sitting area with a futon, which easily converts into a 140 cm bed and a work space; a bedroom with a super king size-bed and lots of storage; a kitchen with a stove, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, a microwave; a small bathroom with a shower. The flat has a separate and private entrance, where two bikes are available for guests. The house is equipped with central heating and a water softening system, providing soft water without calcium - a rarity in Denmark. Towels and bed linens are included. If you would like to stay more than a week, towels and bed linens will be replaced every 7th day. And yes, we accept dogs <3 Malling is a quiet area, and the house is situated in the midst of the town which is a 40 km/h zone. Parking is easy, as there always are places to park around the house. As we live in the house, we are available if there would occur any emergencies. The apartment is in a quiet and safe area. We are close to public transportation, supermarkets, a wine store, a pharmacy, pizzerias, a local restaurant (Malling Kro), and our favourite: the local cinema Malling Bio featuring quality films. By car you are 8-10 minutes from the beach and beautiful forest areas - a classic Danish bøgeskov. By the beach you will also find a chip shop and the gourmet restaurant Norsminde Kro. Not far from there you can also find the small food gem Himmel & Hav (Heaven & Sea). The apartment is only 14 km from Aarhus Central Station, 30 minutes by public transportation, 15 minutes by car, 30-40 minutes by bike.
