Swilly Barn, Dittisham

Relax and unwind in this spacious barn with beautiful vaulted ceilings and a private garden. It has two generous double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen area. The living room has a wood burner for cosy winter breaks and also opens onto a terrace with far reaching views towards the sea. Footpaths run from the barn to nearby Dittisham where there are pubs, a cafe and access to the beautiful River Dart. Swilly Barn sits within a stunning valley with far reaching views over rolling Devon farmland. It’s a very special place to relax by day or to use as a base for many South Hams adventures. The barn is adjacent to our main house but is still very private and not over-looked. Guests are free to access and stroll in the fields beneath the barn. We like to give our guests privacy but our door is always open for advice and a friendly chat. We will always pop over and welcome you in. We have young children who also like to greet guests whenever possible! A delightfully remote and rural setting. The only nearby house is our own, situated next door to Swilly Barn. Dittisham is just 1.5 miles away so a village buzz and the stunning River Dart can be found nearby. Parking is on a shared driveway with ourselves and is reasonably tight in a typically Devonshire fashion. However, there is space for 2 small cars and room to manoeuvre too. There is access to a Zappi electric car charging unit too.
