Whole house: Idyllic 16th century cottage

This is a very old and quintessentially British cottage with lovely period features. We have recently refurbished it so it is now very light, cosy and comfortable. There is a bbq and outdoor seating, and we’re located in the heart of the village, with lovely views over the village green (& duck pond). This house is our home, and suits people looking for a home away from home as opposed to hotel luxury! We have a dog, so please don't book if you're allergic! This is a truly relaxing place to stay, the sunsets over the village green are spectacular, the space is so cosy yet practical and the bedrooms are all very comfortable! The whole house - this includes a large kitchen, an office space, sitting room with Smart TV, and the garden which has a BBQ and seating for 8. Someone will be though, if needed :) Haddenham is a very old village which has slowly expanded to become a population of near 6,000 now! The transport links are excellent, and there is a small village shop and fantastic coffee shop within a 10 minute walk (Norsk - a must visit). Thame, an old market town, is a 5 minute drive away and has a lot of lovely shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a fantastic farmers market every Tuesday (8am - 1pm). The train station is a 10/15 minute walk with fast trains taking 35 minutes into London Marylebone, 10 minutes to Bicester Village and 20 minutes into Oxford. We are also a 5 minute drive to Thame (or taxi's roughly £7 one way to Thame). Thame has a lot of restaurants, shops and pubs as well as a big Waitrose! We have off road parking for one car.
