B&B l'Orto di Ortensia - Camera "Alda"

An old ciabot surrounded by greenery transformed into a quiet b & b where you can relax or learn something new with the courses that take place. The b & b also has a small home restaurant where you can enjoy tasty and original dishes cooked with products from the organic farm. Try our specialty: cooking with edible flowers! Sara is waiting for you! The b & b has two bedrooms with 3 beds each, a shared bathroom and many books to read. The two rooms are named after two famous women and inside there will be small references to them. In the common area you will also find a corner of Book Crossing. The peculiarity of the B&B is a quiet and comfortable environment where you can relax. You will be welcomed in a family atmosphere and you can relax in our garden or take advantage of the soccer at your disposal. To get there, just enter L'Orto di Ortensia on the navigator and it will take you directly here. The last 50 meters of the road are unpaved at the end of which you will reach the parking lot of the b & b. If you love nature and animals you will certainly be fine. The b & b is located in the middle of the woods, in a quiet environment, but at the same time in 5 minutes by car or 40 minutes on foot you can reach the village. The B & b can provide you with directions to visit the surroundings. If you love hiking or are passionate about sports you will have the opportunity to indulge yourself. From the b & b you can reach Malingri Castle, the Madonna della Neve sanctuary and the Pra'd Mill Monastery either on foot or by car. About half an hour from the b & b you will also find the departures of various paths to reach shelters such as the "Jervis" and "Barbara" from Bobbio Pellice and the "Ai Sap" refuge from Angrogna. You can also take advantage of the paragliding flights that land a stone's throw from the B & b and the canoe school in Bibiana, or the nearby snow slopes of Montoso, or even horseback riding at the village riding school. There is also no shortage of more relaxing activities such as a visit to the astronomical observatory in Luserna or the "Zoom" biopark in Piscina. Also half an hour away you can visit Saluzzo with its many monuments; or visit Pian del Re where you can see the exact point where the Po river originates. Also in the nearby Val Pellice you can find the Tumpi, natural pools created by the river where you can swim in the summer. Ask Sara for information to enjoy your stay at the b & b. Most of the products that the b & b offers for breakfast comes from the farm's production. A rich, good and genuine breakfast. On request we are available for breakfasts suitable for celiac disease or allergies. The home restaurant offers many themed events: from ethnic cuisine to traditional, vegetarian, vegan, aperitif and much more. The events will alternate from month to month. Upon request, Sara will be able to give you various courses dedicated to cooking with edible flowers, home soap making, the creation of handcrafted costume jewelery and much more.
