Beautiful apartment in Naro (Agrigento) Sicily
This whole apartment is located in Naro, an ancient town steeped in history, in the heart of the real Sicily. It offers fast wifi, 2 big bedrooms, a big living room, a new bathroom with a powerful shower, and amazing views over a lake and out to the sea from the outdoor terrazzo, where you can eat a lovely meal with a table which seats 8 people. The space is around 100 square metres in total. You can get a great pizza locally and superb ice cream, and check out the castle which is 1000 years old This apartment feels like home. It sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a huge bed in the master bedroom and a brand new matrimonial sofa bed in the second bedroom. Its around 100 square meters in size. Being positioned on top of a hill the views from the terrazzo and balconies in every room are second to none. It also means there is a cool breeze and no insects around either. It also has a light airy feel and keeps cool even in the hot summer months as a breeze circulates. The location of Naro is very old and interesting place - unique. Amazingly, our family in Naro will also make home cooked food for you and deliver it. For example we could do a lentils stew and a melanzanie parmigiana, both for 6 people, for a total of 30 euros. Guests will have exclusive access to the whole apartment, including the outdoor roof terrace where you can eat dinner as its normally really warm outside. There is street parking and the beach is not far either. There is full wifi which you can use for internet and a DVD player to watch when chilling out on the sofas in the living room. My brother Pino will be on hand to let you in, show you around and answer any questions you may have upon arrival. After that we are available close by if you need us but we will not disturb your stay at all. Cheers, Alex. Naro is a very traditional Sicilian town, with authentic narrow cobbled streets and an ancient castle from the 1100's at the top of the town. There are old churches everywhere. Recently the film 'La scomparsa di Patò' was shot in Naro, because the town looks so old it feels like hundreds of years ago! You can park right outside the apartment for free. There is no decent public transport so you will need a hire car to get around really. If you don't want to get one at the airport there is a local hire firm which we can refer you to called NarAuto. The market is very traditional and its on Thursday mornings. The castle at the top of the town is open for tourists and well worth checking out - its been well restored.
