Villa Excelsa is 1 of 4 stylish self-contained villas & a main house 'The Wright Residence' which are located on the 'Freshwater Retreat' property. The 2 acre property features lush tropical gardens, turtle enclosure, billabong & communal outdoor entertaining area with a pool, BBQ, kitchen & outdoor dining area for all guests to enjoy. There is plenty of space & privacy on this large property for you to relax & enjoy nature while still being so close to the city, local markets & Nightcliff Foreshore. There is parking on the property and on the street. Villa parking is located alongside the half retainer wall just inside the front gate. Villa Excelsa is located on the beautiful 'Freshwater Retreat' property in Jingli. The Jingli Water Gardens is a short 500 meter walk down the road which is one of the most popular parks in Darwin with lily ponds, a community garden, BBQs, Accessible toilets with change facilities, a large shaded playground and a skate park. The famous Rapid Creek Sunday Markets are located just on the other side of the water gardens - the laksa and Asian fusion food on offer is amazing. The Nightcliff Foreshore, with it's cafes, food vans and restaurants is also around the corner and so is Casuarina Shopping Centre. The property is immersed in nature but so close to all of the main attractions in Darwin and conveniently only a couple of minutes drive from the Darwin Airport. There is ample parking on site. If you are staying in a villa then your allocated parking is alongside the small retainer wall at the inside of the front of the property gate. The grounds and gardens are bigger than most hotels so you will have lots of privacy and space of your own but the pool and communal entertainment area including the bar, BBQ and kitchen at the back of the property is a shared space for all guests :) Other things to note: -The communal kitchen is fully equipped with all your entertainment needs except it does not have a stove or an oven. - The kitchenette in the villa is also equipped with everything you need to prepare continental breakfasts and coffee however it does not have a kitchen sink, although there is a bathroom sink. - The villas do not have a washer and dryer, the closest Laundromat is 'Laundry Plus' located 1.1km from the villa at 6 Sabine Road, Millner, NT 0810
