Beachfront House for Family Fun or Romatic Escape

Perched atop a secluded bluff, our stylish, 4-season, beachfront home overlooks a beautiful stretch of Lake Erie shoreline. Take the stairs to a private sandy beach where you can relax, stroll, swim, fish, or marvel at the sunsets. Our home is family friendly featuring a smart TV, free WiFI, fully appointed kitchen, 4 comfortable BR, 2 baths, and everything you need for the perfect vacation. Need provisions or a night out? You’ll find several restaurants and nightclubs a short distance away. Nestled among the trees, you’ll experience the charm of a natural woodland, along with the calm of a private sandy beach at the foot of the property. Notable wildlife sightings include bald eagles, white tail deer, chipmunks, and toads. The house is clean and comfortable. Enhance cleaning methods ensure your health and safety. Prepare your favorite vacation foods (we all have them) in the modern kitchen. Or light up the grill, and serve drinks and dinner on the patio. An all-season sunroom provides the perfect atmosphere for eating, watching the setting sun, or busting out the board games for a night of family fun. Need to switch from vacation mode to work mode? You’ll find fast and reliable internet As your host, I likely will not have an opportunity to meet you but you will be able to text or call me with any questions or concerns. The house sits at the end of a private road on a bluff overlooking the Lake Erie shoreline at the mouth of Big Sister Creek (most popular species caught here are Smallmouth bass, Channel catfish and Rainbow trout). The community is close-knit and friendly, and share a community beach adjacent to our private beach. Swimming at our private beach is at your own risk but a beautiful sandbar provides relatively shallow water for family swims. Bennett Beach (a stone’s throw away) and Evan’s Town Park have lifeguards if you prefer. Note: Lake Erie Watersports provides rentals of Paddle-boards and Kayaks with free delivery. Need provisions or want a night on the town? You’ll find a large supermarket, and a number of restaurants and popular nightclubs with music within a few miles including: The Lounge at Suncliff; The Beach Club at Mickey Rats; Turtle Joe’s Sandbar; Connors’ Hot Dog Stand; and, Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream. Or, book a daytime tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Grey Cliff. Not from the area? Plan to spend some time exploring Buffalo, the second largest city in New York State. A 30 minute drive along the shore and you’ll find dozens of top rated attractions: Canalside, Solar-powered Heritage Carousel, Buffalo Naval Park, Explore and More Children’s Museum; Larkenville; Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin Martin House, and world class art galleries and museums. You can also find turn of the century architectural masterpieces by Louis Sullivan, Richard Upjohn, Daniel Burnham, Henry Hopson Richardson, Stanford White, and Louise Bethune to name a few. Or, enjoy a picnic at one of the city’s Frederick Law Olmsted Parks and Parkways. Is football your game? Grab some tickets to see the Buffalo Bills play a home game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, just 30 minutes away. Within a one hour’s drive you can also reach the Roycroft Campus in East Aurora (40 min) and some of New York’s finest ski resorts. STAIRS! Because the house sits on a dune, there are many stairs (with handrails) to the entrance. There are also many stairs to the beach (again with handrails). Fair warning, you will get a workout but it will be well worth it!
