The train station is just located by the shops which is about 0.3 miles away from the apartment and the train will take you into Glasgow in no longer than 25 minutes. There is also entertainment like the bingo or hamilton academical football club is nearby. The hamilton horse racing is nearby also. There is also a choice of pubs to visit during your stay which is 0.5 miles away at peacock Cross.
