Located in one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages, Castle Acre is brimming with history. . Ivy Cottage is a charming and characterful home. Set over three floors, The top floor of the property comprises of 3 large bedrooms all with kingsize beds along with the family bathroom. The ground floor has a beautiful open plan kitchen and dining space, the true heart of the cottage. On the lower ground floor there is a further double bedroom, shower room, and a large lounge with open fire. Ivy Cottage benefits from a recent refurbishment, adding modern touches crafted in a traditional way using traditional materials. The north and south light give a beautiful feel to the main dining area from early morning well into the evening. In the evening spend time around the sunken fire pit on the lower terrace and enjoy the amazing night sky.... Free Wifi is available There is parking for two cars on the driveway and there is additional space outside the property. Your host will be available via email and (Hidden by Airbnb) (calls if emergency). Castle Acre is a beautiful historic village, with the Castle ruins to explore. There is also the historic Priory where guided tours are available. The village has a very relaxed feel, with the local pub The Ostrich only minutes walk from Ivy Cottage and long with the local Tea Shop. There are also amazing walks along the water ways to the neighbouring village to explore. There are great walks from the Village to the neighbouring villages and the coast is only 35mins drive.
