Blue Shore Beach Villa in Millendreath

Blue Shore sleeps 5 (maximum 4 adults at a time) and is situated in Millendreath. It is a 2 minutes to the beach, with wonderful views to the sea. The villa has been furnished in a contemporary style with hints of the seaside. It has a huge terrace for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Our villa is perfectly suited to a seaside family holiday, for couples or friends, for relaxing, hiking or visiting Cornish attractions. There is a bar located on the cliff side. There are 40 steps up to the villa so please bear this in mind before booking. We provide a free parking permit and a large car park is situated close by. You may load and unload at the bottom of the steps next to the villa. The living room comfortably seats 4 adults and there is plenty of space to fit a 5th small person. There is a large TV for the evenings with freesat and free wifi. There is a dining table and 5 chairs for eating in, and plenty of cupboard storage. Patio doors open from the Living/diner onto the terrace. The double bedroom has views out to sea and the smaller bedroom is furnished with bunk-beds and, for an extra child, a pull out trundle bed. The bunk beds are suitable for adults but please be aware that there is a ladder to climb and there is a weight limit of 130kg on each bunk. The kitchen has everything you will need for a holiday with washing up liquid, a washer dryer, fridge and freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and all the pots and pans you will need. The bathroom is modern and has a bath with a shower over and also has hand wash and some toilet roll. Bed linen is not provided at this time. We provide duvets, pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, a bath mat and oven gloves. You will also need to bring tea towels and bath towels. Electricity is through a card payment meter and at least £5 of electricity is provided free of charge on your arrival. Electricity cards from £5 can be purchased 24 hours a day on site cash only. The villa has electric heating in every room and double glazing for colder weather. There is a caravan park a mile away with a swimming pool, leisure complex and entertainment (closed in Winter) and we recommend you check whether these facilitates are open to non-residents. A quiet scenic Cornish valley leading down to an unspoilt beach with a bar. We are hoping that the beach cafe will reopen in April. The area offers wonderful coastal walks, boat trips and beach activities. Fishing from Millendreath beach and pier is popular. There are picturesque local towns such as Looe and Polpero, and attractions for nature lovers such as The Eden Project. People are open and friendly in Millendreath and those who come once usually can't wait to return. Cornish attractions including The Eden Project, a 40 minute drive, or Looe Island. We provide local information about attractions and are happy to advise on specialist activities such as cycling and currently writing out some routes. There is a coastal path which begins about 100 metres from the property and leads to Looe to the west - a 20-25 minute walk and, if your feeling more adventurous, Seaton to the East a 1 1/4 hour walk, where there is a pub and a cafe. Looe has many good cafes, fish and seafood restaurants and pubs, and offers boat and fishing trips from the quay. It has a number of clothes, craft shops and supermarkets, a train station, bus services and a taxi service. Liskeard is a 25 minute drive away where a range of other shops and eateries can be found. There is a golf course nearby and award winning riding stables as well as high adrenaline activities. We advise that you have a car as there are no bus services to Millendreath. However, there are train stations in Looe and Liskeard and taxis can be used to transfer to the villa which costs approximately £7. It is also only a 25 minute hilly walk from Looe to the villa and a 20 minute walk to the shop at the campsite at the top of the hill, swell as the cafe and bar on the beach, so it is possible to holiday without a car if you are fit. Please note we do not allow people under the age of 18 to stay unaccompanied. They must be accompanied by an adult.
