No city lights just quiet serenity on the glorious Darling Downs. Relax and stay at home for peace and quiet or visit our local natural wonders. The choice is yours. Large family home with 4 bedrooms - sleeps 9. Large screened front deck, large open back veranda. Large family lounge and dining room for family get togethers but quiet little nooks where you can escape and read a book. The adjoining Dam is often covered in water lilies and wild ducks. My home is 7.7klm from the rural town of Allora -The Best little Town on the Downs. Allora with is beautiful wide streets and historical builds is a great place to visit. It also has the service of an IGA, butchers, pharmacy, post office and doctors surgery, and a quintessential country Pub- The Railway Hotel which does great meals. Warwick with its Rodeo and Roses is only 21min away. Your house your holiday, but I can be contacted by phone during your stay. My home is 7.7klm from Allora- The Best Little Town on the Downs. Allora with its wide main street and historical building is well worth a visit. It also has an IGA, a butcher, pharmacy, medical centre and post office as well as the quintessential country pub, the Railway Hotel. The pub does great meals and takeaway liquor. I am also only 21klm from Warwick the home of Rodeo and Roses. Warwick is a large regional hub and has lots of great things to see. If you want to spread your wings further take a trip to the Stanthorpe Wineries - its an easy day trip. Access to my home is via sealed roads. The roads are narrow and frequently have farm machinery on them. Drive carefully. There is under cover parking for 3 cars. My home is on a working farm. The farm and its livestock are off limits for the safety of guests. The Dam isn't fenced - guests are advised that they are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children. Rural Queensland is home to poisonous snakes and other wild animals please stay away from any you may encounter. Don't pat the kangaroos. They are wild.
