Converted bus experience! Cosy, countryside escape

Welcome to Wanda, our lovingly restored and meticulously converted wander bus, based in Pays de La Loire, France. Wanda isn’t your ordinary bus. Since retiring from her day job, carrying passengers through village towns in Devon, England, Wanda has been lovingly renovated into a stunning tiny home. Now situated in her forever home in Pays de la Loire, France, and offering space for two, Wanda offers a cosy retreat in the peaceful French countryside to relax and unwind. Wanda is equipped with all the luxuries that'll make you feel right at home (think hot showers, flushing toilets, heating during winter and air-conditioning in summer, a kingsize Emma mattress, fresh linen bedding and some traditional French treats upon welcome). However, being a country lover, you won't find anything that'll distract you from experiencing the simple life on board Wanda; there's no TV, or WiFi, but plenty of good, old-fashioned games to keep you entertained. With the local towns and villages offering delicious French cuisine, you'll no doubt want to eat out most evenings. However, should you want to cook at home, you'll find Wanda is equipped with an electric hob, fridge and freezer. Speaking of home, Wanda is situated on 3 acres of beautiful farmland with just the birdsong for background noise - and the occasional tractor! The land is yours to explore. Look out for Edith the Kune Kune pig and her feathered friends who provide fresh eggs for your breakfast each morning. With 24km of hiking trails in the local town of Gorron alone, you'll find there's plenty to explore right on your doorstep. Within 30 minutes, you'll find pretty villages like Fontaine Daniel and the bustling markets of Saint-Hilare and Fougeres. If you fancy going further afield, the stunning Mont St Michel is just 1hr 15 away by car, the beautiful beaches of St Malo - 90 minutes - and the historic city of Rennes just a pleasant 60 minute drive away. The nearest town is a 5 minute drive and the local supermarket a 10 minute drive Being a converted bus and all, Wanda has her own little quirks. The shower is limited to 10 minutes and the water pump makes a little noise as it refills. However we hope, like us, you’ll find it part of her charm
