The Davis Loft - Perfect Location (We are Open!)

The perfect location! The Davis Loft, located in Davis, WV, is warm, cozy and inviting. It is also the closest home rental to Blackwater Falls State Park and is within walking distance to all that Davis has to offer. The loft has all the modern touches you would expect but still retains the right amount of rustic nostalgia that blends in so perfectly with the culture and landscape of the magnificent Canaan Valley. Modern farmhouse design meets midcentury architecture. Here are some of the highlights of what you can expect: two TVs, Wi-Fi throughout, full-sized fridge, outdoor patio with warm string lights, gated sitting area in the sun, openable skylight, "crows nest" above the bed (reached by ladder), complimentary coffee, full-size shower and pull-out table to use with barstools, and beautiful, local West Virginia art. In order to access the loft, please park in the parking spot directly to the right of the door. You will walk across some grass and paver steps to access the front door. Getting around is easy. Parking is free everywhere around here. Aside from walking to Davis and Blackwater Falls, you can find information on all the local trails and attractions by visiting the Canaan Valley tourism website. You're in the heart of one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the eastern US. The Davis Loft is located 0.8 miles from Blackwater Falls State Park, 0.2 miles to Davis, WV and only two miles from Thomas, WV. The ski resorts in the valley are an easy, short distance away and many guests often walk to the eateries, bars and shops around Davis directly from the loft. Parking is always free, and roads are always maintained in the winter. For walking and hiking trails: 1. Please visit the Canaan Valley tourism website 2.Please download the app "AllTrails" for your phone. It is free to use and showcases many of the great trails in the region. I've also added resources in the physical manual you will see once you book a stay at the loft. Please remove shoes upon entering and turn the heat down before you leave. The upstairs fan in the loft can be turned on if you want to help circulate the air in the loft. - There is a toaster oven in the outdoor storage bin. - There are two stove top burners to use to cook with. They can be placed anywhere on the kitchen counter. - There are blankets, sheets and pillows for the futon in the upstairs dresser or in a bin underneath the futon - Please refer to the "check-out" section of the manual for check-out instructions.
