Need to social distance? Our quiet country studio is far enough from Washington DC to get away without being gone. Ideal for grabbing some space, a long run, a bike ride, or visiting local wineries. The Appalachian Trail is just a stone's throw away. We respect your privacy. No smoking is allowed and internet access is from your own hot-spot. The studio includes a satellite TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The queen-size bed and skylight make Rose End a cozy escape. The cottage comprises a large bedroom, a small eating area, and an efficiently designed bathroom with shower. The layout is meant to comfortably accommodate two people. However, we are open-minded and flexible and have, on occasion, agreed to add other people and small pets. You should ask, if you have a special situation. Guests have access to the entire cottage, the patio with table, umbrella, and fire pit. We also encourage you to explore the property and the adjoining forest. We are available on the premises if the unexpected occurs. While technically a neighborhood, the area is very rural and the houses far apart. The property is adjoined by a forest in the back, a field in the front, and enjoys a very quiet and serene setting. No public transportation is available. Many back roads and hiking trails are close by.
