This updated, spacious, 1st-floor apartment in historic home is walking distance from Main Street, restaurants, Wesleyan, walking paths, and hospital. Open kit/LR/DR for easy socializing. Access to yard. Quiet, comfortable bedrooms. The apartment is warm and comfortable, about 1,000 sq.ft. total. The bedrooms are small-ish but the common area has plenty of space for 6 guests. The kitchen appliances are new and much of the space is freshly re-done. It's on the first floor of our home so you are likely to hear some footsteps from our family upstairs. We spend a lot of time in the backyard with friends and neighbors when the weather is agreeable. Guests are welcome to join us. The apartment is self-contained and has a private entrance. We are on-site if you need anything at all. We are community-oriented but will give you all of the privacy you like. Our neighborhood is full of walkers and bicyclists, artists and musicians as well as young families and empty-nesters. People are friendly and helpful. Our street is known for the beautiful trees as you walk up the hill to Wesleyan. There is plenty of street parking except for Wesleyan's graduation weekend but we can help you find free parking.
