An enchanting spot in a hundred acre wood
Away from it all but close to everything! A beautiful spot in the woods. Quiet and inviting space with walking and cross country ski trails on the property, great nearby restaurants, breweries, ski areas, etc. The apartment is on the first floor with a private entrance. You arrive by coming in a private half mile driveway to this oasis. Plenty of parking. There are two very friendly dogs and an assortment of farm animals. This amazing place is only 30 minutes from downtown Burlington. People who stay at Homeplace describe it as magical. It is nestled deep in the woods, yet close to Burlington. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with a pond, beautiful gardens, trails for miles through the woods, and breathtaking views of Mount Mansfield. This spot is a true hidden gem, listed in "13 Unique Places to Stay in Vermont" (Website hidden by Airbnb) Come relax and unwind in beautiful Vermont! You will have 3 meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated bedrooms, a living room area, two full private bathrooms, and a full kitchen to make your stay comfortable. Guests will access the apartment via a private entrance on the side of the home. There is a path from the gated entrance that leads to the door. I live in the main part of the home and am available to help you should you have questions about the property or things to do in the area. Jericho is a quaint little village located 30 minutes from downtown Burlington and 20 minutes from Smuggler's Notch. It is 5 minutes from Jericho Cafe & Tavern, which is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and often has live music. We have plenty of free parking! There are two friendly dogs who live on site as well as a barn full of animals, all of whom love company! In fact, my animals are friends with some famous animals you may have read about in John Churchman's books "Sweet Pea & Friends: The Sheepover" and "Brave Little Finn"! They live just down the street.
